Sorrento to Naples airport?!

Hello! I'm wondering what the best option for travel from Sorrento (staying at Residence Le Terrazze
Via Nastro Verde 98) to the Naples airport to catch 16:40 flight to Santorini would be? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

one way is the circumvesuviana train from Sorrento to Naples, then catch the airport bus.

I would allow 3 hours for this, so to get there for 3pm, say, I'd want to leave Sorrento at about midday.

if you are risk averse you could leave earlier and spend some time at Naples airport; the good news is that it's very modern and has some nice food airside to that wouldn't be a bad option.

Hi Kelly! Unswer depends on what you think is "best" . Cheaper? Easiest?

Easiest and most comfortable is a private car transfer, for some 100 € or something like that.
Door to door, allow one hour or so.

Take the Curreri bus - it is 10 euro and will take you straight to the airport.

Do as Blueeyedcod suggests. We have taken the Curreri bus from Sorrento to Naples, not only was it cheap but it was a nice big comfy coach type bus. We caught it at the train station in Sorrento.

What a useful bus! I wish I'd known about it when I went to Sorrento about 18 months ago with a group from our college - our teacher/group leader arranged a private transfer in mini-buses which was awful on the way there [better on the way back] and i suspect much more expensive than this bus.

I see that it also stops at Pompeii on the way from Naples to Sorrento [not on the way back, though] which could be a very good way of getting there in some circumstances.

Good options listed above. Private transfer is 90€ or more.
