Sorrento itinerary over Easter weekend 2013

Jump to last reply

We will be in Sorrento Thurs - Monday of Easter weekend. I have already read up on the two processions (white and black) that occur on Good Friday (early Friday morning and Friday evening). One day I plan on us going to Capri (will probably do a private boat tour with, another day Positano/Amalfi/Ravello (yes, we will be hiring a driver) and one day relax and explore Sorrento. We will probably do Pompeii on our way to Rome on Monday.

I am trying to decide what to do each day, particularly what to do on Easter Sunday. I expect it will be busy everywhere on Easter Sunday, so mostly concerned with being sure we go someplace where things will be open. Not just restaurants but shops as well. I'm thinking of just staying in Sorrento on Sunday and making it more of a leisurely day, and going to an Easter morning mass, but do want to confirm that most shops/restaurants will also be open. Thanks for your help!
