Barcelona, Santiago and Girona. Not confirmed for how long, but more may be on the list later. Hopefully this will not last too long.

Hoping it won't last long too! I'm heading to Bilbao on Thursday (due to arrive Friday afternoon). The BBC website listed Bilbao as one of the airports closed. Keeping my fingers crossed it clears up by Thursday!

MareW, Transatlantic flights are all delayed as they have to make a detour around the cloud of ash.

The ash may affect southern France later but once you get to CDG you should have no problem getting to Italy as the airspace that far east is not affected.
I am flying from Belfast to Italy via Stansted on Tuesday and the advice is check with the airline daily as airspace over Ireland has been open and closed on and off for the past week.
Good Luck

Some???? I see it was all right from here in Galicia through to Barcelona. Parts of southern France and Oporto in Portugal.
hopefully everyone is covered with their insurance because you never know when the ash cloud will strike next.
