I'm looking for some restaurant recommendations. I've looked at other threads, but there are a couple of places I'm curious about that no one has mentioned (perhaps with good reason).
Do you know anything about Au Vieux Moulin in Les Eyzies -- part of the La Moulin de La Beune hotel?
What about Ferme Auberge de La Rhonie?
(We may end up having lunch out more often than dinner, but it's always good to know about a handful of enjoyable places.)
I'd appreciate any other recommendations, too.

We had an absolutely wonderful lunch in a town called St. Leon sur Vezere. The little restaurant: "Le Dejuener sur L'Herbe". When you get to the town, there's a main street and lots of people (tourists) eating at 1 or 2 restaurants. However, keep walking towards the river and eventually, when it seems nobody is around, you will come to this tiny place with picnic tables outside next to the river. It' really a wonderful setting. Delicious salads, sandwiches, etc. It felt like a real "find".
Thanks, kenav; that sounds great. I always like a wonderful setting, and St Leon sur Vezere is definitely on my list.

The Moulin de la Beune (Le Vieux Moulin) is a lovely restaurant in an impeccable setting. The risotto aux truffes is delightful. Also Le Petit Léon in St-Léon-sur-Vézère,on the "back side" of town has a lovely garden setting and is a bit more upscale than the picnic spot by the river. And Le Chai in Limeuil has wonderful carpaccios and 125 homemade flavors of ice creams and sorbets.

I googled Le Petit Leon; are they really only open in July and August? If so, it's nice to see a positive aspect about being there during those months at last.
I don't know if they're only open in July and August or not. I know they're not open in March or October, because I've gone there then hoping to eat there and it's been closed. Probably makes sense to open only for the two high-season months.
You might also check out La Table du Terroir in La-Chapelle-Aubareil, near Montignac. One of my favorites.
I also second St. Cirqs' recommendation to have a meal at La Table du Terroir in La Chapelle. It was one of the best meals I ever had: great Bergerac wines along with melt in your mouth rilletes, magret de canard etc. Try to have a least one meal here if you visit the Lascaux caves
