Solo hotel in London

Jump to last reply

I will be spending a week in London solo at the end of March. I have been to London several times before but would love input on a hotel. Here's what I'd like to find:

Budget is under $150/night, incl breakfast. Less than $150 would be even better!
Somewhere within two or three blocks of a tube station
Close access to a couple of decent pubs, restaurants, a small grocery, and a Pret a Manger, or similar (this since I don't like to venture too far on my own at night)

I expect I have described something one could find all over London (except the price, maybe), but I am at a loss as to where to start - any thoughts greatly appreciated.
