Snežnik Castle

Jump to last reply

The following website says that Snežnik Castle is closed as it is "undergoing massive renovations". Is this still true?

http://www.lonelyplanet.com/slovenia/cerknica/sights/castle/sneznik-castle

I'm visiting Slovenia mid-September and I was hoping to take a day trip from Ljubljana to Prdjama Castle, the nearby caves and then drive down to Snežnik Castle for the afternoon. If it is still closed, it still looks like it offers some awesome photo ops from the exterior so would it still be worth it?

Thanks!
