small group tours of turkey and greece

We are travelling Sept. or Oct. and want to find a reliable tour company that would take us to Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Canakkale, Gallipoli in Turkey. Then on to visit a few Greek islands, maybe Rhodes and Crete. In Greece we would like to see Athens, Delphi, Kalambaka and Meteora. Any suggestions of tour companies that cater to small groups staying in reasonable local hotels would be greatly appreciated.

I can highly recommend a tour company for you. We used Kagan Kosagan (KSG Team) several years ago when we were doing an overnight cruise stay in Istanbul and a day in Ephesus. I contacted Kagan and he put together an itinerary for our small group of 15. We had 3 wonderful days being shown the wonders of Istanbul and the ruins of Ephesus (Kusadasi). You would not be disappointed with his services. He can coordinate all your travel needs, hotels, etc. He loves what he is doing, is truly passionate about showing everyone "his" Turkey. I am sure that he can advise you about Greece as I do not know if this is something his team does. You will not be disappointed!

Here is the website:

Tell Kagan that I (Mary Z) said hi and gave you his name.

Here's a website I found:

http://www.mediterraholidays.com/ about-us

they are an Eastern Mediterranean travel agency with an address in Istanbul, Turkey. You can read their waiver of liability on this website also. You can google and see if anyone has used them. Check Trip Advisor also as I saw some reviews there under Mediterra Holidays.
