small group car rental in france

Jump to last reply

We will be traveling thru Picardie and Normandie next October for 2 weeks. We are 2 adults couples with appropriate luggage: 1 suitcase each plus small carry-on/backpack.
We are planning multiple trips thruout the regions, each averaging 2 hours or less, 5 of which will include the luggage.
We will be renting a vehicle and are considering the 7 seaters Espace (?).
Is this a good fit for us as in: Is it big enough? We are travelers and we do not overpack (Or try not to!).
We would appreciate opinions of those with similar experiences and will also entertain advice for a different or more suitable car, if applicable. Much appreciation for inputs and many thanks.
