I've shopping for flights out of UK end of August and came across a few good deals on skyscanner. When I looked at booking was redirected to kiwi and since I have not used this site before I want to check with members to be sure it is reliable vendor and that the price(s) offered will be honored. I have used many vendors without ever having a hassle but some times I see Hacker fare and wondering if this is the case with kiwi.

I have used priceline. hotwire and all the other popular booking sites previously so am familiar with many of them. Anyone have experience with kiwi? Their total for my 2 flights seemed like a good offer and did not entail a long layover in UK on way to Lisbon & Dublin.

Thanks for any help. As soon as I hear back that site is reliable, I will make bookings.

Cavangal, I hope you don't mind me adding to your question.

If you buy a flight with a transit stop using these aggregators and there are two airlines involved, can you be assured that if the first flight is delayed that they will put you on the next available flight at no extra charge? I know this happens if you are issued a single ticket (for both legs) by a particular airline but not sure how that works with sites like skyscanner, expedia, etc. Do they sometimes issue two separate tickets for the two different airlines?

I've never booked a multi-leg flight with skyscanner, but I've several times missed connections on flights I'd booked with Expedia, and there has never been a problem.

My route involves a flight from Newquay to Manchester to connect with flight to Lisbon. That is first ticket and show carriers: Flybe, Monarch or BA. My connecting flight to Lisbon is nonstop and might be TAP or BA. I choose a Manchester connection to avoid delays at LGW or bigger airports. I have EU passport for European travel which makes airport changes easier without long delays.

My second journey will be on Aer Lingus to Dublin which is nonstop.

When I tried to book I was directed to kiwi which offered the least expensive fares. I will again compare prices on priceline, hotwire before booking.
Thanks for responding and looks like skyscanner/kiwi is reliable especially if they do connections at no extra surcharges in event of flight delays.
