Get a Paris Museum Pass and I believe you can then skip the ticket window lines-definitely at Louvre at no extra price I believe.

Buy the tickets on-line at the normal prices from the museum´s own website. No need to pay a scalper or to buy a pass you don´t really need.

Hard to tell that they may or may not need pass depending on what else they will be doing -Notre-Dame Towers; Orsay Museum (more fun IMO than Louvre); Pantheon; Arc de Triomphe, etc.

But if for just those two no.

but yes did not think about buying tickets online -same as having pass as regareds priority entrance.

Good tip!

In principle, it's always worth skipping lines, and you can easily avoid the ticket window lines by purchasing tickets in advance or a Museum Pass.

Think of it this way: how much money are you investing in your trip to Paris. If, for a few extra euros, you could save an hour or two, that gives you time to explore something extra ... or spend an hour in a café sipping espresso and watching the world walk by.

Be aware that skip the line tickets will not allow you to skip security, so you will have lines for that!

Paris Museum Pass is great if you will visit several museums/sites. Also, at the Louvre, the mall entrance on rue de Rivoli is usually less crowded than the pyramid entrance.

Thanks, i will just order tickets online to avoid ticket line but i read there are still long lines just to get in at main entrance. I also heard once the tour guide get you pass the first set of lines, you are on your own whether there are still more lines not sure off.

For Versailles, if you reserve a tour of the Kings Apartment for 7 euro you can get ahead of a lot of the traffic and not get the cattle feeling for about 90 minutes. I thought it was worth the money.
