I am looking to go to Andorra for a week in the first week of march to ski but when looking on the internet for ideal places to stay the information available is very limited.
If you have been to Andorra and know of a great social place to stay and the best slopes for all abilities, also about transport to get there etc i would love to hear from you.
I have never been travelling before so any tips would be of great help.
thanks
(keen for snow)

The best internet site would be:
www.skiandorra.ad
There are 4/5 (depends on how you count them) resorts in Andorra. I have been in 4 of them:
Ordino: Most of the slopes are for more advanced skiers. Because of its location (gets little sun) there's a lot of ice.
Pal: Small. Has good beginners slopes.
Soldeu-El Tarter: Excellent place. Lots of slopes of varying difficulty.
Pas de la Casa / Grau Roig: Probably the best. It has slopes for all levels. The Grau Roig side is better (IMHO) than Pas de la Casa.
I would try to stay in Andorra La Vella, and to rent a car. It is by far the best way to get around. Beware of weekends when it is completely full with people from Barcelona.
Death to Andorra!
A really good link is ifyouski.com.
It gives independant advice on all resorts along with customer survey feedback. You can bring up all the Andorran resorts using the resort search.
