S.Kensington, Bloomsbury or Westminster area - please help to choose!

Jump to last reply

We are in late 40th and will be in London for the first time for 8 nights for sightseeing, probably a few day trips outside of London. I was comparing various hotel and can't make up my mind between those 3 areas. Prices of hotels about the same with variations (like breakfast, better hotels) :
1. S. Kensington: Rembrandt, Park International, maybe Holiday Inn. Breakfast included in first 2. I undestand it's very good location for bus/tube and a lot of restaurant aroundand nice area just to walk in the evening.
2. Bloomsbery: for example Bloomsbury hotel (a little more expensive and no breakfast). Advantage over S. K. we can walk to some sight. I think there a lot of restaurant in an area as well? And it's generaly nice in the evening for a walk after long day. We are not looking for clubs/bars, just nice area to eat
3. Westminster : for example St.Erwins hotel - such a high reviews! - again no breakfast. And my concern that area sort of deserted in the eveing, but we can walk to various sites.
Please help!
Mariya
