Sim cards for Ireland, France, England and Northern Ireland

Hello,
I'll be needing to purchase sim cards for Ireland, France, England and Northern Ireland. I'm mostly interested in those with the best data coverage. Any recommendations about where to purchase and which providers?
Thanks!!

If you have a newer Smart Phone or you are putting off getting one, you might inquire. The new Smart Phone's phone providers are required by a law passed in Jan. 2015 to have unlocked phones that do not require unlocking or SIM cards. For a small fee of about $5. You can get increased Data Usage.

Assuming you're from the States, have you checked out T-Mobile? They offer complete coverage when traveling and all data is free. No need to buy a sim card for each location.

We are now in Belfast. I'm needing to buy the sim card and hoping to find one for Ireland, UK and France. Mostly I want good data rates. My phone provider is Verizon at home which has a horrible global plan. Our phones are unlocked and ready to go. Just need to figure out best option for providers here. Any help?

Topping - I have the same question about France. What is the best (meaning cheapest/most data) SIM card option for France - need to use for one week. ??

You are talking 3 different countries so for Data (which is not free to roam) then you need 3 sim cards.

UK "3" do a €15 all you can eat data package and "3" Ireland (same company different services) do (currently) a €20 all you can eat data package. You will need to put an extra fiver on top to make calls. If you don't need that much data then Tesco UK and Tesco Ireland do data bundles for lower cost.

Can't help with France.

Coverage may be an issue in some areas, especially outside large towns and cities, so before deciding on a SIM make sure you can get a good signal where you will spend most of your time. The Three network supposedly has the best UK-wide coverage, but I can't get it in my home.

I have a Toggle, which covers most, if not all, of the area you mentioned. Easy setup, good rates.

I have an Apple SIM in my iPad Mini, and used it to buy a cheap data plan with EE. It worked well in London, but I can't get 3G coverage in my home with EE either. It's fairly easy to find free wifi hotspots in England when you can't get 3G or 4G coverage.
