Side streets safe in Borne (Barcelona)?
Hi -- I'm thinking about renting an apartment in Borne, and am wondering about safety. I will be traveling alone, and it's possible I'll be coming home late at times.
The street I'm considering staying on is Carrer del Canvis Nous, right next to Bar Salvador. From Google Maps, it looks like it could be a little narrow and dark at night, but it also seems to be in what most people consider a good neighborhood.
Should I have any concerns about walking around that area late at night by myself?
I'm a 28-year-old male, if that matters.

No, my husband and I have stayed in the neighborhood 3 times and never felt unsafe and we are a lot older than you. It's noisy and there's lots of partying, but that's part of its charms. My 25 year old son and his gf are staying in an air bnb across from Santa Maria church next month. Have fun and enjoy.

Streets are typically narrow in the Borne. This is no exception. It's not as narrow as the pedestrian walkway that intersects it at Bar Salvador, and there are streetlights. It's also a lived-in neighborhood and away from Ramblas.
