Two friends and I would like to take a trip in January. I was thinking of Sicily as it may be warmer, But I heard that it can be very windy. Any suggestions on a group tour to Sicily in January 2007?
Grazie..

We just returned from Sicily and it was windy and a little chilly. If you're going to the cities or Taormina you can take day tours from there. You can also rent a car. It's easy to get around.
My daughter spent last semester in Sicily from January through May. She froze her "rear end" off in January-maybe it was because there was no central heat in her apartment, the winds or just the damp chill(and we are from Chicago). Just dress in layers, hat and gloves and then order alot of limoncello to warm up with?
just be careful of booking anything with Sicily Life tours. My friend and I had a very bad experience with them.
