I'll be staying in some budget hotels on my upcoming trip to France. Although I think I've done my homework and picked hotels that will be clean, I'd still like to bring some kind of shower shoe just in case. Besides, lots of hotels don't have a shower curtain and bathroom ends up all wet.
So my question is...where do I get a pair of very lightweight (trying to carryon only) shower shoes that won't take up lots of space in my luggage. (I don't want a heavy rubber flip flop kind of thing) Thanks in advance for any ideas/advice.
shower shoes - what kind and where do I find them?

Try Walgreen's, CVS, Rite-Aid for starters. They'll do the trick, are very inexpesive and come in a variety of both sizes and colors. No need to spend a lot for something simple like this.
Go to your local Dollar Store
Thanks for your suggestions and agree that they should be cheap (forgot to mention that one in my ?)Now does anyone know a good brand to recommend?
Hi
keep the luggage down by packing 2 rubber bands.
Then pick up 2 extra plastic bags at the local foodstore when you arrive.
Cheap enough ?
Peter
Whoa, too much thought going into the shower shoes. the whole point is to get something dirt cheap and lightweight. Just go into some cheap store such as wal-mart, eckerd, or any of the ones listed above and find what they have. If you think it is lightweight enough, then buy it. i would not spend over $6 for them, you can just throw them away at the end of your trip.
If you start asking for particular brand names, some people will start responding with the fancy $30 flip-flops.
Tina:
I was in my local Walmart this past Saturday. Plenty of choices for less than $4.00. All styles and colors. Flip flop or sandals styles. Enjoy!
Don't just wear them in the shower--you can pick up fungus from a hotel carpet as well as in the shower.
And wearing shoes in the shower has nothing at all to do with how "clean" a hotel may be. You can pick up nasty things in the shower at the finest hotels in the world, or from the gym, or from your mother's shower.
