Fly - try Aegean Airlines. Overnight cruise doesn't depart from Athens. You would have to get to Patras to catch the cruise (about 3-4 hours away). It's expensive (if you want a cabin) and takes a long time.
Rome and Milan can be reached with easyjet, flights can be very cheap if you book ahead of time.
I suggest you fly to Rome and then use the trains to reach Florence and Venice.
Venice is closer to Milan, a 3 hours ride by train
Hi Maj,

You have answers to your earlier post.
You can find it by clicking on your name on the upper right of the screen.
Agree to fly from Greece to Italy. Not sure about cruises - although I believe there may be a ferry (google is your friend).

there are plenty of ferries between Patras and either Bari or Ancona or even Venice, but it takes very long, and if you take a cabin it can be very expensive.
On the other hand ,depending on the period, you can find very cheap flights...
kybourbon actually speaks of ferries not cruises
