Have you checked on TripAdvisor? There may or may not be anything there but my personal opinion (obviously not shared by everyone here)is that all airport hotels are not created equal.

Wish I could help more.

We've stayed there several times and IMO it's a superior airport hotel. Clean, comfortable beds, surprisingly well soundproofed, friendly front counter and support staff. The restaurants and bars are overpriced, but what else is new. (The Marriott next door has better offerings on these fronts.) If you're a (silver) birdwatcher, the rooms facing the runway across Bath Rd. are great for jetlagged planespotting.

Like all the hotels along Bath Rd, it's served by the world's worst airport shuttle service, the "Hoppa." It's in the free zone for the public (red) buses, but with luggage or late at night that's a nuisance, and the taxis at the terminals will try to tell you they won't go there (too small a fare) even though they're obligated to do so. The Skyline is especially inconvenient to pax with bags going to/from Terminal 4 (Brisith Airways) because the Hoppa doesn't go there. But such is life in the big city - not the hotel's fault.

Getting the Skyline on Priceline for US$60 v. the £150 rack rate stands as the best bargain in London IMO.

We'll be staying at the Sheraton Skyline for the first time in October (got it on Priceline.) We've stayed a couple of times at the Marriot next door.

There is a pub within walking distance if you don't want to eat at the hotel (or the McDonalds down the street.) To get to the pub, walk down the street that runs along side the Marriot till you get to the end - the pub is right there. Nice local pub serving decent pub grub. About a 10 minute walk.
