We are planning to rent an apartment in Seville for Semana Santa. Can anyone advise best neighborhoods ? We have three children, ages 6-12, and want to walk to most sites, as well as enjoy an interesting neighborhood to go home to. Does anyone know Barrio Santa Cruz?
What about a place near the Alameda de Hercules and the Mercado de Abastos?
Ideas?
Thanks

Have you checked prices? That's where you should start...
Santa Cruz is the beautiful ancient neighborhood. That's why the tourists stay there. Also good are places like Arenal, Alameda de Hercules, Macarena and Alfalfa.
"Have you checked prices? That's where you should start"
and have you checked availability?
We have been to Seville on five occasions and each time promise we will make it for Semana Santa. Each year we have left it too late, usually November the previous year and have found either no availability or totally unsuitable availibilty which involves either going very down market, ridiculously up market (£ooos a night) or having to pay silly money for our usual 4 star standard.
Having said that Seville is our favouite city on earth and other than the cooler weather, this is the best time to visit.
