Has anyone been at Selcuk during the " May Festival" ?
I will be in Selcuk, with my wife and 2 daughters 13 & 15 yrs, from 29th April to 3rd May 2010 in Selcuk.
I have reversed my order of travel to be there for the festival.
Don't know what to expect.
I am staying at URKMUZ hotel, #2 on trip advisor, which looks quite good. ( Hotel Bella is booked) The owner doesn't have a concrete information about the programme.
Rather than the play at Ephesus, I would love to see authentic cultural programmes, dances, folklore etc.
There is not much information available on the internet, except that it is held in the 1st week of May every year.
Anyone who has experienced it, or has any information, Please help

The traditional selcuk festival is in September.
In January, there is the famous camel wrestling festival in Selcuk.
The International Tourism Culture and Art Festival of selcuk-Efes, has both touristic programs and also theatre and pop music, in May. The official program will change from year to year and will not be publicized, possibly until March or April. Some of the activities will have to be discovered on location because they will not be on the official program.
