Seeking cultural visit, Aix-en-Provence

On May 8-9-10 I will be in Aix with two groups of Americans, one of 8 people, one of 9. I'm looking for a cultural visit (either for all 17 at one time or for the groups individually), and would welcome ideas.

What do I mean by a cultural visit? Examples: A meal at the home of an Aixois; a drink at a home; a drink at a café with an Aixois, or a meal at a restaurant. Or some other activity (playing boules?) that would expose my Americans to an English-speaklng person living in Aix.

The idea would be to give the American travelers a sense of life in Aix, a chance to peek "behind the veil" of this chic, beautiful French town.

These visits could be paid or not; if they involve a restaurant meal or cafe drink, we would, of course, host the Aix person(s).

I have emailed the French-American Center in Aix to see if they have ideas, but there has been no reply yet. I would value ideas from Fodorites. Many thanks.
