Second visit to Ireland.

We visited Ireland in June 2011. We travelled by Ferry from Fishguard to Ireland . We stayed for 3 nights in Co Wexford and then in Co Kerry for about 5 nights. From our base we visited south to Ring of Kerry, Dingle and a few towns. (Not as far as Cork). North we went as far as Cliffs of Moher. We stayed in Dublin for a night before leaving for a ferrie-crossing to Holyhead. We feel we did not see and experience enough of Ireland and return in June 2014 for 12 nights. Please can you advise us what may be "not to miss" places now? These are what we have in mind:
1. Fly in to Cork. Rent a self-Catering accommodation in the region for 5 nights.
2. Go th Galway area for 3 nights.
3. ???? for 3 nights.
4. Dublin before flying to Edinburgh.
This isa very rough itinerary, just to start!
Please help.
Erna
(We are interested in nature, history as well as culture. Would love to see a show somewhere. Dances and/or music.)

awww, just came back and have a long list of 'next time I go'.
We flew into Shannon, stayed 2 nights at Glenstahl Abbey visiting Rock of Cashel, then onto Galway stayed 2 nights loved it there (take in a meal at Ard Bin)(can easily stay 3 nights)then onto Cliften stayed at the lovely Malmore Country House for 2 nights (could have stayed longer) rode at Cleggan Riding stable to Omey island, visited Kylemore Abbey...
Could go on but lunch break is over.
Connemara is wonderful country with lots of outside activities.

Might put the 3 nights??? between Cork and Galaway there is a a lump of land with Kerry, Limerick and Clare between the two places and then an easy drive east to Dublin.

Thank you! We have been to Kerry, but as we have to pass the above mentioned counties, please highlight a few places that you think we may consider. I will appreciate.
