Seat Reservations with a Eurail select 3 country pass

Jump to last reply

Is it necessary to make seat reservations ahead of time in Switzerland , Germany, and Italy?
The trips that we know of already are, Zurich to Grindewald, Interlaken to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Munich, Munich to St. Moritz , St.Moritz to Tirano, Italy ( via The Bernina Express) and Milan to Florence, Venice to Rome. I am just wondering whether to buy the seat reservations on line before we head to Europe, or buy them from the automated machines in the stations.
Any thoughts?
