I am going to be in Scotland in early September. On one of the days of the itinerary, I am planning on driving from Perth to Skye via Glencoe and Glenfinnan on a Sunday to Mallaig for the ferry. I will leave Perth around 9am and getting to the ferry by 17:30, (ferry leaves at 1800-last one of the day) with stops in Glencoe and Glenfinnan. After the ferry landing, I drive to Broadford hoping to arrive approx. 2000hrs that evening. This is the longest drive day of our itinerary and just want to make sure if I watch my time that I don't miss the ferry. I appreciate any thoughts on this.

It's under 4 hours for the whole distance, less than 2 from Glencoe, under 1 from Glenfinnan, so you shouldn't have any problems in making it
Thanks so much for your help. That relieves my mind
You'll have plenty of time to stop along the way at Glencoe and Glenfinnan.
We did a similar drive from Callander to Portree via Mallaig. It was a long day but we intentionally made many nice stops along the way. We did pre-purchase the ferry tickets to ensure getting on the last ride out.

Thanks to all. I did pre-purchase my ferry tickets, that is why I was a little concerned about the timing of the drive, considering I wanted to stop at both Glencoe and Glenfinnan. That is the only real deadline on this trip,so I am relieved. Thanks again.
You've plenty of time. If you do arrive at Mallaig earlier, it's usually not a problem to get transferred free of charge onto an earlier CalMac ferry.
