I am trying to complete my itinerary for this spring. We start our trip in Amsterdam and end in London. In between I would like to visit Loch Ness, Edinburgh and the Cotswolds. I'm having a hard time figuring out where to start and where to end. I am figuring 3 nights in Amsterdam, 2 nights in the Inverlochy Castle, 3 nights is Edinburgh and 2 nights in Cotswolds. I would love some feed back on the best way to do this. I can drop Amsterdam completely, but not sure what I would replace it with. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

How many days do you have in total?
As it is you are jumping around three countries including rural areas far from international transport. The continent to Inverlochy Castle is not a straightforward/simple jaunt. And from there to the Cotswolds wouldn't be any easier.
Before anyone can help you we need to know how long the trip is.I assume - since you want to stay at Inverlochy - that budget is not much of an issue.
We have a grand total of 14 nights. I think I've given up on Inverlochy as it seems not easy to get to. Instead we are thinking of flying in to Edinburgh from Amsterdam. Spending 2 nights there and then heading down to the Turnberry resort on the West Coast of Scotland for a few days. We are thinking we will just take a day trip from London to the Cotswolds.
