Scotland Help

Am taking my daughter to visit St Andrews Univeresity the end of the month and am wondering if I should stay in a B&B outside St Andrews or in the town itself. If I rent car and drive from Edinborough Airport are there lots of places to see and go around the town of St Andrews?

First it is Edinburgh. Second, if you are going to St. Andrews, why wouldn't you want to stay in St. Andrews?

I would absolutely stay in St. Andrews. It's a wonderful spot, IMO.
