My husband and I are going to Scotland for 9 days in July. He is going to play golf so I'm looking for some suggestions of things to see & do. We will be the Ary area, Edinburgh and St. Andrews. Does anyone know of good day trip excursions, biking excursions etc. I'm looking for any good ideas.

I think you mean Ayr - if so you must take the ferry to the isle of arran, your husband would also love it - there are many great golf courses. St Andrews and Edinburgh are both beautiful, you will have plenty to do in both these places.
I've a couple of docs about day trips and Fife which you might like to send me...
duh- "which I would send you, if you send me your email address"
