you can buy it on line and they will shoip it to you. Here in Boston, it's always available, a drink we have for years. Check out some of the vintage posters for this drink. Also driving through the villages, we spot a pentemento (sp)Lillet on the side of a brick house or building.

Maybe after the recent Supreme Court decision more liquor shipping will be allowed by more states, but in some states shipping in is illegal, or has been up until a couple of weeks ago; laws will be adjusted.
I have family in Georgia, they can't find white Lillet locally and Georgia hasn't allowed liquor or wine to be shipped in. I have been known to carry contraband Lillet when I visit.

elaine! You lil ole Moonshiner!
I don't understand why the stores don't carry it around here. Or why they would only carry one type.
As the Yankee is prone to say, In New York, they would sell it everywhere

My brother-in-law the winey (derivative of "foodie" says that liquor distributors have a lock on which brands and varieties they will provide to their stores, and if a particular item isn't on their distribution list (often due to lack of request, sometimes due to insufficient kickbacks) then you just won't find it easily. Some states I am told have just a handful of distributors that have liquor and wine monopolies in certain areas.

irishdame, I might have to go to your store then
I am looking forward to getting it the Lillet Blanc to see the difference in taste. The Yankee got a bottle one year as a gift and remembers how good it was
