Sardana Dancing - Barcelona

I would be interested in watching the Sardana dancing outside of the Cathedral de la Seu. However I won't be in Barcelona on a weekend. I thought I read somewhere that you could see this on Wednesday evenings. Does anyone know whether this is true?
If so please let me know. Thanks.

I have yet to go to Barcelona but I did find this person's account online which says:

"Once I was settled in Barcelona, however, all I had to do was open the calendar section of any newspaper to see that sardanas were a regular part of local activities. Aside from the weekly gatherings in front of the cathedral at noon and in the Plaça Sant Jaume in late afternoon on Sundays, they are an indispensable element of neighborhood fiestas both inside and outside the city of Barcelona; and at least one such fiesta happens every weekend."

But it does sound like a weekend thing..

Here the article I found http://www.ce.berkeley.edu/~coby/essays/sardana.htm

Yes I was there last fall staying at the Colon and they dance right in front of it every Sun. and Wed. or Thurs. I can't remember, an unforgettable Catalonian experience.

I saw that dance on weekend both at the Cathedral in Bari Gotico and at Sagrada Familia. I don't think they do that in the evening but I'm not sure. Anyway what I saw was during the day and at Sagrada Familia, people came out to dance after the Sunday morning service, so that was around noon.
