Santorini with children

We are planning a trip to Santorini in early July with 2 small boys, ages 6 and 7. Was thinking we would stay near beach for a few days and then in another location for a few days. Am looking at Veggera and Santo Miramare hotels in Perissa/Perivolos. Pool is important for the kids-- other hotels considering- Sky of Thira in Firostefani, Villa Evgenia, Philippion and Loizos Apts. in Thira, Laokasti Villas in Ioa. Have heard good things about Imerovigli but finding expensive. Anyone familiar with these locations/advice?

Thanks,
