Santorini weather in September

Thank you all for responding to my previous posts and thanks everyone for posting, such a wealth of information!

I am ironing out my itinerary for Greece in September and wanted to make sure the weather in Santorini will still be nice in mid-September (18th to 22nd or so) or should I try to go to the islands first once I land (September 10th) and see the mainland later.
