Santorini – Boat trip from Imerovigli to Kamari

Hi
Is it possible to hire a boat/yacht for a (sober!) party of 30 (maximum) from the Imerovigli region to Kamari.
Early evening departure with a really good on board meal would be ideal. I’m guessing it would be expensive but in this instance it’s for a very special occasion.
Thank you.

You will still have to arrange transport from Imerovigli to whichever port the boat sails from, and that would take almost as long as going directly back to Kamari. Why don't you arrange a sunset cruise in the caldera instead?

Thanks Heimdall
That's a great idea, but we still have to return to our Kamari hotel. I guess that's still do'able.
Kamari to Imererovigli for wedding by road
Imererovigli to port by road
Sunset cruise
Port to Kamari by road

I wonder?

Yes, doable.

Actually, there's a small-boat port at Vourvoulos, which is not far from Imerovigli. You can see it on that map. The challenge will be finding a boat large enough for a party of 30 to charter for the return to Kamari. Contact www.santorinisailing.com/catamarans.htm The "Dreamcatcher" is the only one I know of with that sort of capacity that can serve you a meal.

Also, you'll still have to arrange transportation from Imerovigli to either Athinios Port for a sunset cruise or to Vourvoulos for the cruise I mentioned above.

Forgot to mention that the Dreamcatcher is moored at the small marina in Vlichada, so if you preferred a sunset/caldera cruise you might have to board her there instead of Athinios.

I wonder if the scenery between Vourvoulos and Kamari would be worth the effort of organising a boat trip? Surely not to equal that of the scenery in the caldera!
