San Sebastian transport help

So we will be returning a car to Hertz, at the Garbera Shopping Centre (Travesia de Garbera 1) on a Saturday morning. How do we get back to the Euskotren Station (Amara or other)? We'll be heading to Hendaye to switch trains to Bordeaux. Are there buses? Or would a taxi be reasonable? Thanks in advance!

I'd take a taxi to the Euskotren station. The city bus would take too long.

Good luck in finding the Hertz drop off at Garbera Shopping Centre.

Thanks, Robert. Any estimate on what a taxi would cost? Any clues on finding Hertz?

So this is our plan for Saturday, 06/21. Any flaws that you can see?
Return Hertz rental car to Garbera Shopping Center, San Sebastian
Take taxi to Euskotren station
Take Euskotren from San Sebastian (Amara station) to Hendaye
Take TGV train from Hendaye to Bordeaux-St-Jean

Using the Bahn website, I see 3 trains, departing at 9:45, 12:45, and 17:45. The only fare listed is a ‘Standard Fare’ with a red I. When clicking on it, it states ‘Price for all travelers. Full flexibility (no obligation to travel with a specific train). Exchange/refund free, from the 1st day of validity 15 EUR.’

So the price is 15 EUR, correct? Can we purchase tickets in advance? Is there any need to do so?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

The cost of the tickets on 21 June are €28,50 for the reduced fare according to the SNCF website http://en.voyages-sncf.com for the 09h45, 12h45 and 17h45 departures. There are only so many reduced fares issued, so it's best to book as soon as they become available (like now).

The taxi from Garbera Shopping Center to the Amara station should be about €12 at the most. It's not that far.

Have you checked on the hours that the rental office is open? IOften they are closed on weekends and/or have restricted hours.

"so what is the 15 Eur fee quoted on the Bahn site" I have no idea. It's not a site I use for booking SNCF tickets.
