Salzburg at Easter

What will be open Easter Sunday and Monday? We had hoped to do Hellbrun and the Salt mines along with the usual tourist things. Also does anyone have a personal guide they like. I'll, 70+ will be traveling with my 14 year old grandson. Thanks in advance

    I am not an expert on Easter in Austria - sorry - but do check carefully with someone who is certain about the issue because there are often local and individual variations which change the "official" picture. I am pretty certain that the entire Easter weekend is a public holiday. This is from the Austrian tourism site for the UK;

    It may be in your best interest to email the Austrian or Salzburg tourist offices specific questions about the specific things you want to do and see.
