Very obscure question, I know, but I am hoping that someone on this board has been to this venue located at the Sporting Club by the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort in Monaco.
The Sporting Club holds summer dinner concerts (Tom Jones, Sting, etc.), which sounds like a lot of fun. The venue looks fabulous, under the stars, summer, music, what more could you ask for?!?
I know I can get tickets to a show I want to see, and I know how much they are. However, I want to find out when I make the reservation if they can get me a good table close to the stage, or if it's a first come, first serve venue. I've been trying to contact the venue to find out this specific information, but all they seem to be able to tell me by email is that there is availability and to contact them by email or phone. They haven't been able to answer this specific question!
Thought I'd come here first in case anyone knows before expending $$ calling them.

To bring this back to the top, just in case there's any Fodor peeps out there that might have the answer, as an update, I sent a second email. Now I realize that I'm just getting an automatic response. So . . . this morning I called to see if I'd get a real person. I did. However, I had just missed the 7 p.m. (Monaco time) closing time for the phone with Salles des Etoiles. I keep forgetting they're 9 hours ahead, not 8!
