Rothorn (Zermatt) - How long does the ride take?

Does anyone know how long the ride from Zermatt to the top of the Rothorn takes (or I guess, more importantly, the ride down)? If the weather cooperates, we are interested in doing the Sunrise Rothorn trip which leaves at 06:00 for early morning photos of the Matterhorn, however we are scheduled to leave on the Glacier Express that morning, either at 09:13 or 10:00. The website for the sunrise trip says that the return trip leaves Rothorn at 08:00. I just wanted to make sure we have time to get back to Zermatt, grab our bags, and ideally make the 09:13 train, which we currently have reservations for. Thanks!

The trip to the Rothorn is done in stages. The funicular from Zermatt to Sunnegga takes six minutes, then you connect to the cablecar to Blauherd and then the cablecar/gondola to Rothorn. We took the funicular to Sunnegga and the cablecar to Blauherd...I can't remember how long the cable car portion was, but it wasn't long. We didn't take the cable car to Rothorn though, as we walked from Blauherd to Fluhalp and return, so I've no idea about that one.

I really doubt the return takes anywhere close to an hour and Swiss transportation connections are well timed, so you can walk off one form of transport and directly on to the next. it. My concern would be the walk from the bottom of the funicular to your hotel and then back to the train station. How close to the train station is your hotel?

And also the time of year...summer is very busy in Zermatt, the cablecars might be full. If you miss one, you could be screwed.
