Rome/daytrips

My husband and I were in Rome in 2005. We will be returning to Rome this coming Nov. We used Appianline Bus Co. to tour Pompeii, Naples and Florence from Rome. We recently checked their prices it seems they've gone up considerably. Does anyone know of a good tour bus company that is not quite as expensive as Appianline for traveling outside of Rome?
