Rome to Amalfi Coast

Jump to last reply

Hello. I am flying into Rome July 30th around 7PM. I don't care to spend time in Rome as I have been there before. Unfortunately i could not get a flight to naples for this day. Anyways, I am looking to get to Amalfi Coast and require some help!
1. Best way to get from Rome to Amalfi (i've heard there is a bus directly to sorrento. However the website is only in Italian?!) Should i book these train tickets ahead of time?

2. Where to stay in Amalfi. Positano? There are two people and we are looking for a nice place to relax enjoy the beach and make an easy day trip to Amalfi.

Any other recommendations you would have would be greatly apprecatied!!
