Rome / Paris via Matterhorn for 3 days. Is it possible to do ?Need Help

Jump to last reply

Will be leaving Rome on the 27th December 2013, need to be in Paris on the 30 or the morning of the 31st December for NYE.
Want to spend 3 days somewhere between these destinations, preferably where there could be snow. Keen to see Matterhorn !
Would it be possible to travel by train from Rome to Zermatt or Matterhorn stay a couple of nights & then get to Paris before NYE ?
How would we do this, ?

Also need some suggestions how to spend NYE in Paris without spending a fortune.
2 women traveling !
