If I were you, I'd leave a lot more "undetermined" in your schedule, and keep a checklist of where you want to go.
Sometimes, it all can't fit in a day, the logistics are wrong, or you just want to relax.
Be flexible is a key for me. This is not Marine boot camp.
FYI
The Capitoline is next to the Forum.
Your entry ticket to the Colosseum/Forum/Palantine is vslif for two consecutive days (each area only once I think).

Reservations are mandatory at the Borghese. Don't take much with you as you have to check everything. You will be allowed to keep a wallet, but really not anything bigger as they give you a small bag to put it in.

Keep in mind that you will be there in August which is usually the hottest month and many restaurants and smaller shops will be closed. I travel to Rome alot for work every month but went on a week's vacation at the end of June. The temps were in the high 90'sF and 100F which just sucked everything out of us during the day. We found going back to the hotel around 3ish and checking our email, having a cold drink and putting our feet up till 5ish really refreshed us for a later evening. Have fun and remember that the charm of Rome is just observing and taking your time!
