Rome in March Hotel Suggestions Questions

Jump to last reply

Hello my husband and I are planning a trip to Rome in Mid March 2016. We will be there 7 nights and would like to stay in at least a 4 star hotel where we can mainly walk to all the main spots. Is Spanish steps or Pantheon area best? What kind of weather and crowds can we expect then? It will be my husband first time to Italy I have been to Florence and Milan but never to Rome. Would a train trip and day in Florence be realistic for us? We really mainly want to explore Rome but I loved Florence and would love to have a day there. Any info is much appreciated!
