Rome - Hotels

Are there any hotels in Rome that can accomodate a family in one room (two beds)? We have 2 adults and 2 children. Thanks

yes, we are a family of 4 and stayed in a quadruple room at the Atlante garden hotel.

When looking for hotel rooms on various hotel websites, put in family 1 double and 2 single beds.

Also there are many apartments available in Rome city centre.
Booking.com is great for apartments.

Thank you very much for your help. Have you ever tried Home Away? I was also considering using that but I am nervous since it is my first time.

No I haven't. I have seen it though. Airbnb is another good website for apartments.

I probably should have added we enjoyed the hotel and its location right by the Vatican Museum.

Can you get an apartment? Consider that if you are staying a week and feel comfortable with a little less help. If this is your first trip, I would keep it simple and avoid HomeAway.

We stayed at the Hotel Crosti annex, which we found on www.4inEurope.com . The website lists quad and family hotels for exactly what you are asking.

Crosti is great for being close to Termini if arriving by train but I'd rather stay closer to the center of things... Trevi Fountain area. It also had a sofa as the second bed and, in our family, 3 beds or at least not a sofa is championed by the children (by the way, 4inEurope lists the bed configuration).

Lots of people like the Vatican area or Trastevere area as well, although not my personal pick.

I also like booking.com although I don't trust their reviews as much as tripadvisor.com.
