Rome for Romans?

Jump to last reply

I am making mid-range plans to move to Rome.

I am wondering if there is a an annual "museum pass" for city dwellers in Rome. For instance, I have a "membership" with the Kimbell Museum in Fort Worth. I pay xx dollars per year and I have free entrance (+1 guest) for every exchibit and discounts at the museum restaurant/bookstore/audio guides. This membership is also good at a number of other "sister" museums.

If I am living in Rome, I will probably want to go to local musuems often, including the Vatican Museums.

Can anyone give me some insight (websites) that might be useful for a local?

Grazie!
