Any tips for first time Italy (Rome & Florence) trip 3/29 - 4/5?
Want friendly, small restaurants, nice wine, good food, reasonably priced. Thanks ahead of time!

Trastevere is a good area to try for restaurants. I liked Il Duca on Viccolo dei Cinque. For an informal atmosphere with reasonable prices, look for an hostaria (or osteria). There are also a couple of good restaurants on Via dei Chiavari, off of Corso di Vittorio Emmanuele.
