Rome Florence Train voucher
We're taking a train from Termini in Rome to SM Novella in Florence, and returning 4 days later. I tried to make an online reservation but after entering all info and credit card, and hitting buy button, I did not get a receipt or ticket, or confirmation of the purchase.
Is it enough to take the order # listed at the top of the order page? Is there an actual ticket to be printed? Thanks!

I filled in all the traveler information where requested when buying the ticket. I only saw an Order number at the top of the page where you indicate "continue" to purchase. Nothing happened! I didn't open a user/password if that's what you mean by registering on Trenitalia. I sent an email to Trenitalia but they have not responded. I don't have a good feeling about this!

If you had registered, you could go into your account and see the transaction.
It sounds like it didn't go through at all or it went to spam (check your spam). I use gmail for overseas online purchases. Some of my other e-mail accounts block a lot of e-mails (doesn't even show in spam).
Call your credit card company and see if it went through with them. Did you notify them in advance you were making this purchase? Many cards block them.
If it hasn't gone through and there was not an attempt on your card, register on Trenitalia. Read these directions (scroll all the way down).

Thanks for the advice. I did check with my credit card and they didn't see the purchase. So I registered with Trenitalia, made the reservation again, and got a confirmation this time. Thanks for the help.
