Anybody know how far this is?
What busses run between the two locations?

About 10-15 walk depending on how fast do you want to go. Don't know about busses.
Meira
It's a mile or a little more. The 117 and 119 buses go the whole length and more can be picked up at about the midway point by the Rinascente department store.
Thanks for the info. I'm relieved to hear its much shorter then it looks on my lousy map. My new and improved model should get here this week according to Amazon.
It's a straight shot down Via del corso about 10-15 minutes. or you can wander left and right and hit Pza di Spagna, Pza navonna , the Pantheon, giolotti!1, Pza Sant'Eustache, Campo de Fiori and eventually you'll come to Pza Venezia...more fun that way but will take several hours!!
ChatNoir, you're going to out my Rome map with all these questions!
As everyone said, it's not a bad walk (and flat, you'll be glad to know). You can stop by Augustus' Mausoleum on the way, and the outdoor print market, if you leave the Piazza del Popolo by Via Ripetta.
Hi jody and dln, thanks for the inputs.
In addition to window shopping, here are a couple of other places I was going to give a walk by or a quick peek inside:
Palazzo Ruspoli
Chiesa di San Lorenzo in Lucina
Piazza Colonna
Palazzo Chigi
Piazza di Montecitorio
Obelisk of Psammetichus II
Chiesa San Marcello al Corso
Piazza SS. Apostoli
Chiesa SS. Apostoli
CN..Pza Montecitorio is right off the Via del Corso..sometimes in the Fall or winter the Parliment building ..Palazzo Montecitorio.. is open to the public. If you do stop by there ,couldyou please check out Colonna Palace Hotel for me and see what you think. We haven't even left for France and UK yet and I'm planning our Jan or Feb trip to Italy!!
BTW..It's also just around the corner from Giolotti!
jody, if I get to that area, I'll be glad to check it out for you and report back.
Ah, you are a true gentleman, ChatNoir!
