Rome - Borghese Tickets, confused
Going to either of the following web links takes me to the same place. Fine.
http://www.galleriaborghese.it/en/home_en
http://www.tosc.it/tickets.htm?affil...78&language=en
I am able to get to the month I want and the day.
Then I see a seating chart. Why is there a seating chart?
Are we not going to a museum?
Can anybody please explain this?

f you fancy taking a guided tour, I would highly recommend Dark Rome. It was a small group with an excellent guide.

Not much has changed with the website since I used it 5 years ago. You will be issued a timed ticket which is strictly applied as are restrictions on what you can take in.
So worth the relatively small amount of aggravation.

It's more than a translation issue:

Note the "Seating Chart" near the top...

Back to the topic of checking stuff and photography.
It appears you have to check everything visible. Correct?
I have read there is no photography allowed.
I have read photography is permitted but no flash photography.
Any experiences with this?
How about a little point and shoot camera with the flash turned off or an iPhone? Either or both of these fit in a pocket.

I can't remember the detals about photograph, assume it's on the web site? If they request no photography, please respect that. Some of the priceless art is in small rooms, paintings on the walls, marble sculptures. It would have been incredibly annoying if people were jostling for position to take photos. Buy postcards or the catalogue.
We were asked to check everything but were give a small plastic bag on a string to wear around our necks for passport, credit cards, ID. We left as much as we could at the hotel.

Photography is permitted; we were there in March.
As far as ordering the tickets, ignore the seating option and choose which time slot you want in the section below. I had no difficulty with this process.
I would avoid the weekends if possible; the crowds (Sunday, 11am) were pretty intense and checking our belongings took a while, though I don't recall having a plastic bag to carry belongings. I probably just carried my small camera or iPhone in my pocket.
