Rome apt in June with AC-elec to be billed separately...anyone been there?

Jump to last reply

I'm looking at two apartments for my large group ( each 2 bed/2 bath) with Domus International for next June. The electricity will be charged according to use at at Eurocent .30 per KW. I was told the average charge is 20E. I'm going to ask for more details on the "average" charge and if there are individual room controls for the AC. I'm concerned because this is summer and I don't want to be surprised with a huge bill since we'll have two apartments - we do plan on using the washing machine and the girls will be using hair dryers.

As anyone paid separately in the summer? Anyone familiar with electric bills in Italy?

Thanks in advance.
