Is this hotel truly located in the airport. Is transport necessary to terminal for an a.m. flight or can one walk from hotel to terminal with rolling baggage? Thanks.

Chiquita, on another thread this morning (airport hotel in Rome & Venice...) a poster claims none of the hotels are really close to the airport. The suggested hotel in that thread is the Holiday Inn Parco de Medici which is evidently about a 15 min drive. FYI-I saw good rates for this hotel on opodo.co.uk
Chiquita-
NO- the Sheraton Airport Hotel Rome is about a 10 min drive by car --
There is NO hotel shuttle.
We stayed at the hotel pre-cruise and had a car service pick us up at the airport- It ran about $35 at the time...
The HOTEL is GREAT- Large rooms and good buffet restaurant for dinner if you are just overniting there....
You CANNOT walk to the terminal from this hotel....
Hi Chiquita,
The Sheraton is located in Parco de Medici.
The Hilton is the only hotel at the airport.
