Romantic Trip to French and Italian Rivieras, Maybe Switzerland?

Jump to last reply

Hi! My husband and I are trying to plan a trip through the French Riviera, Italian Riviera, and perhaps through Geneva around labor day (early September).

We are thinking to fly out from NY to Milan, train to Monte Carlo, rent a car and drive along the French riviera to nice, marseille, montpellier, perpignan, road trip style, one stop per day. Then train to barcelona fly back to NY.

This would be over the course of 10 days. I like the idea of seeing the French and Italian riverieras and get some beautiful beach and culture and food.

If anyone has any suggestions and/or revisions, please let me know, thanks!
